WhatsApp Update Lets You Delete A Picture Or Video On Another user's Phone

A new WhatsApp update will allow users to delete an image, video or gif on someone else’s phone after sending it to them. The Expiring Media feature, first spotted by the website WaBetaInfo, causes media to disappear after being viewed within a chat.

Ghana: Child Online Protection Reporting Portal Launched

Ghana's Ministry of Communication has launched the country’s first-ever Child Online Protection Reporting Portal (COP). The portal was launched by the Deputy Minister for Communication, Alexander K.K Abban who represented the Minister of Communication Ursula Owusu Ekuful at the event.The launch took place on Thursday, during the outdooring of this year’s National Cyber Security Awareness Month at the Accra Digital Centre.

Amazon Debuts An AZ1 Neural Edge Processor

Tech giant Amazon in partnership with Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company Mediatek, has debuted an AZ1 Neural Edge Processor.The AZ1 Neural Edge Processor is a silicon module that will speed up Alexa’s ability to answer questions asked by users by milliseconds per response. The module will also allow an on-device neural speech recognition for new products.

TikTok’s Owner Seeks $60 Billion Valuation In US Deal As Oracle, Walmart Take Stakes

TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance is seeking a valuation of $60 billion for its video-sharing app, as Oracle Corp and Walmart Inc take stakes in the technology firm’s US operations to address the security concerns of the Trump administration.According to a report from Bloomberg, Oracle and Walmart have rights to buy 12.5% and 7.5% respectively of a newly established TikTok Global under an agreement that has gotten the approval of President Donald Trump.
