The youth can create sustainable jobs if they are able to identify challenges within their environment and come up with inventions and solutions, Martin Turkso, CEO of Universal Capital has said.

According to him, the youth can seize opportunities to provide lasting solutions to solve problems technological industries in the country face.

The CEO of Universal Capital, who was the Keynote Speaker at the Ho Node Digital Job Fair, spoke on the theme of “Creating Sustainable Jobs Through Digital Skills.”

He touched on the 21st century skills and encouraged participants of the job fair to develop an interest in technology and acquiring digital skills.

The Hub Manager, Ho Node, Courage Asaase called on the youth in Ho to partake in the training programs being organized by the hub in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab to open them up to more opportunities.

The event focused on increasing the awareness of technology through digital skills and sought to connect unemployed trainees and interns to companies.

A section of participants were individuals who partook in the PaSE program but were unable to gain employment after the training.
